Liverpool fans have heaped praise on Jose Mourinho after he said some kind words about the football club.
The Portuguese manager, who recently took charge of Tottenham Hotspur following the sacking of Mauricio Pochettino, faces the Reds on 11th January and was speaking about the importance of managers being given time to build and implement their respective philosophies.
Jurgen Klopp’s side currently sit top of the Premier League table, 13 points clear of Leicester City in second place and with a game in hand. The Merseysiders have already won the Super Cup in Istanbul and the Club World Cup in Doha this season after winning the Champions League at the end of the last campaign.
Mourinho previously described the Merseysiders as the “complete puzzle”, but went one step further as he looked towards their league encounter on Saturday.

He described Liverpool as “the best team in the world”, and praised the faith and commitment that the club have shown in him.
