Liverpool Academy ace Ben Winterbottom has penned his first professional deal with the Merseyside outfit.
The club announced the 18-year-old has committed his future to the Reds after impressing in the youth league. Winterb0ttom initially made the move to Liverpool last year from Blackburn Rovers and has since graduated from the under-18s to the under-23 squad.

The teenager featured on the bench for the first team back in December when the Reds took on Aston Villa in the Carabao Cup quarter-finals. He also made a stunning penalty save against Derby in the Premier League 2 (via Transfermarkt).
Plenty of Liverpool fans are responding to the news and are glad to see the youngster sign a professional contract with the Reds. One supporter has replied with a tongue-in-cheek comment saying “Pearce didn’t lie” after The Athletic reporter tipped the club to name “a couple of new additions” this summer (via Red Agenda podcast).
