Liverpool fans react to Adam Lallana injury update

Liverpool supporters have been in fine voice in the Transfer Tavern this week after seeing their team maintain their 100% record in the Premier League at the weekend.

Jurgen Klopp’s men went into their clash with Leicester City off the back of beating West Ham, Crystal Palace, and Brighton in their first three matches, thus giving them plenty of confidence ahead of their trip to the King Power Stadium. And while the Merseysiders were far from their best, they got the three points thanks to first half goals from Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino, and although Rachid Ghezzal got one back for the hosts after the break, it wasn’t enough to inspire a Leicester comeback.

Thus, there have been many thrilled Liverpudlians up and down the country in recent times, several of whom have been reacting to the recent positive update regarding the fitness of Adam Lallana.

The 30-year-old has struggled with injuries for some time now but was named in Gareth Southgate’s England squad for their upcoming clashes against Spain and Switzerland, only to withdraw a few days later due to a groin problem.

Yet a recent update from the club’s official website suggests that the issue is ‘minor’ and as such he may feature for the Reds in September, and while the news did provoke a positive response from some supporters, many were saying the same thing regarding the midfielder, in that he is too injury-prone, and as such they should sell him…
