Some Liverpool fans have reacted in horror after a report revealed that Wolverhampton Wanderers’ playmaker Adama Traore comes with a £75m price tag.
The 24-year-old has had a strong season for Wolves so far, scoring five goals and providing 10 assists in 35 appearances this season, as per TransferMarkt. His strength, footwork and his pace have apparently caught the attention of various clubs, with Reds fans calling for his signature on multiple occasions this season and some reports suggesting they are interested.
Soccerlink revealed that both Manchester clubs, Chelsea and even Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain have registered their interest in the Spaniard, who Jurgen Klopp described as ‘unplayable’ (via the Mirror) during Liverpool’s recent win against the Old Gold.
Despite this, supporters were completely put off by his price tag and made their feelings clear on social media. One fan said that Wolves can keep him, while another questioned his fee considering that he would not be a guaranteed first-team starter. Indeed, that may be because the former Barcelona man trails the likes of Sadio Mane and Mo Salah (via WhoScored) when it comes to shots per game, key passes per game as well as goals this season.
