Liverpool: Fans react to Jude Bellingham report

Jude Bellingham

A number of Liverpool fans have been reacting to reports that Jude Bellingham’s family are against a potential move to Anfield.

It has been claimed by 90min that due to Jurgen Klopp’s side’s decision to baulk at the £30m asking price set by Birmingham City for their teenager, his family feel he is not rated highly enough by those on Merseyside and fear for his career.

Indeed, the 16-year-old winger has been in impressive form for the Championship outfit this season and has played an instrumental role in Pep Clotet’s plans so far. According to data collected by WhoScored, Bellingham has managed to score four goals and provide two assists in his 32 appearances in England’s second tier, averaging a match rating of 6.79.

However, once Anfield Edition relayed the news from an Express report, it seems many of the Kopites would not mind missing out on the young English talent either, with many appearing to cite the £30m asking price to be an extortionate figure.

Also, one fan suggested that he would only end up being ‘another Jordan Ibe’ – a player who only bagged four goals and seven assists in his 58 appearances for Liverpool (as per TransferMarkt) and is not doing much better at Bournemouth now, either, with just five goals and nine assists in 92 outings for The Cherries.

Here are just some of their reactions to the reports…
