Loads of Liverpool fans have been reacting to some transfer news regarding the future of Loris Karius, as the German shot-stopper reportedly wants out of Besiktas.
It’s been a rocky few years for Karius. After finally starting to cement himself as Liverpool’s number one in the second half of the 2017/18 season, the 26 year-old’s nightmare performance in the 2018 Champions League final will never be forgotten, and things haven’t got much easier for him since then.
After a positive start to his two-year loan spell with Turkish Super Lig outfit Besiktas, several costly errors have placed his future into doubt, as he was jeered by his own supporters after being dumped out of the Turkish Cup to second-tier side Büyükşehir Belediye Erzurumspor this week, per The Liverpool Echo.
Reports in Turkey claim he has now instructed his agent to find him a new club, and plenty of Liverpool fans have weighed in on his troubles, with one admitting his situation is now ‘just sad’ while another joked they had forgotten he was still a Liverpool player.
