Liverpool fans have been reacting to the departure of the Reds’ youngster Herbie Kane as he joined Hull City on loan until the end of the season, as confirmed by the club’s official website.
The 21-year-old moves to the KC Stadium under manager Grant McCann, who he played for during his loan spell at Doncaster Rovers.
Kane is a product of manager Jurgen Klopp’s youth setup at Melwood and recently took part in Liverpool’s 5-0 defeat to Aston Villa in the Carabao Cup.
With his deal now finalised, he will be eligible to take part in the Tigers’ FA Cup third-round tie against Rotherham United on Saturday.
Supporters wished Kane all the best of luck on his new football adventure and made their feelings clear on social media.
One fan said it was an “excellent move” for Kane, while another said that he has “good potential”.
