Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson appears to be making steady progress towards a return to first-team action after he shared a video on social media of him in light training.
The 26-year-old posted a video to his Instagram story which shows him performing gentle training exercises at Melwood, a clip that was shared on Twitter by Liverpool-focused sports writer Dave O’Connell. [via @DaveOCKOP]

Alisson has been out of action for the Reds since picking up a calf injury in the 4-1 win over Norwich on the opening day of the Premier League season nearly a month ago.
While Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp refused to give the Liverpool Echo a specific anticipated return date, The Mirror had suggested that he would be out of action until after the Reds’ visit to Chelsea on September 21st.
Liverpool have lifted the UEFA Super Cup and won all their Premier League games in Alisson’s absence, but these Reds fans on Twitter were delighted to see the goalkeeper back in training:
