Many Liverpool fans reacted in delight to the news that youngster Curtis Jones could be in line to start this afternoon’s Premier League clash with Crystal Palace.
The Reds are set to take on the Eagles in the early lunchtime game at Selhurst Park in just a few hours time as Jurgen Klopp’s side look to maintain their lead at the top of the standings.

According to the Liverpool Echo (via Anfield Watch), Jones, who received the man of the match award during his team’s 2-1 win over Tottenham last time out, is likely to be in Klopp’s starting eleven.
The local boy accumulated a match rating of 7.22 in that game after winning four aerial duels, having three shots on goal and acquired a pass success rate of 93.8% (Whoscored).
