The Liverpool FC Twitter has posted a flashback to Mohamed Salah’s counterattack goal against Arsenal in 2017 and fans are appreciating their Egyptian winger.
With the Premier League currently suspended due to recent events (via BBC Sport), clubs are doing what they can to keep delivering content to their fans whilst players are self-isolating.
The official Liverpool Twitter has posted a highlight from the Reds’ 2017 match against Arsenal at Anfield where Liverpool delivered a 4-0 spanking to the Gunners thanks to goals from Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mané, Mohamed Salah and Daniel Sturridge.
Liverpool fans are loving the throwback to Salah’s sensational lone goal after he nicked the ball from Hector Bellerin and thundered down the pitch to slot it past a helpless Petr Cech.
Many fans are in awe of the goal as they watch the clip on repeat. One supporter has described the strike as ‘beautiful’ after Salah completely humiliated Arsenal with that move.
