Liverpool recently announced on their official website that teenage defender Ki-Jana Hoever had signed a new long-term deal with the Reds, keeping the Dutch youth international on Merseyside for the foreseeable future.
The right-back made his first professional start for Jurgen Klopp’s side last season in the FA Cup third round, where Liverpool lost 2-1 to Premier League side Wolves.
Of course, Liverpool tying down one of their most exciting young players was seen as a promising step in the right direction for fans, and supporters swarmed to social media to give their thoughts on the news.
