Liverpool fans are still reeling from their poor performance against Chelsea last night that saw them exit the FA Cup in the fifth round. However, manager Jurgen Klopp has added to their frustration following a comment he made in his post-match press conference.
The Reds were knocked out of the competition last night after Willian and Ross Barkley capitalised on a leaky Liverpool side. But fans are feeling their anger all over again following Klopp’s post-match comments.
The German gaffer calmly explained that he didn’t think Liverpool’s loss to Chelsea was down to a bad performance. Reflecting on their recent 3-0 thrashing against Watford, Klopp said the FA Cup was not the same as their defeat at Vicarage Road at the weekend (via James Pearce).
Many fans are furious with the comments made, the majority are criticising his ‘absurd assertion‘ and claiming ‘he doesn’t care’. Other fans are calling for him to ‘drop the deadwood’ players and ‘start admitting we were poor’.

We can still criticise obvious flaws in our club, like we have deadwood and a stupid thin squad. And klopp is pretty stupid in some situations
