Jurgen Klopp has assembled a very strong looking squad and our local Liverpool fans here in the Transfer Tavern are feeling confident about the season with some good results already under their belts.
Klopp has signed the likes of Georginio Wijnaldum, Loris Karius, Sadio Mane and Joel Matip who have all had regular game time, whilst he’s also improved players like Roberto Firmino and Adam Lallana no-end.
The team has shown that they can take anyone on with good results against Arsenal, Chelsea and Spurs already this season, and with them just two points off of the top of the league – they look like they could be title contenders this year.
It’s not just the squad at the club that are exciting the fans, though.
There is a couple of players out on loan that our landlord knows the Reds’ faithful want to see in action at Anfield more often in the future, so here they are…

The Brazilian can play as a central midfielder or holding player and is greatly thought of amongst the Liverpool fans in the Tavern.
He’s spent a number of loans away from the club earning experience and is currently at Hertha Berlin, who continue to punch above their weight in the Bundesliga.
Jurgen Klopp would be wise to use him sooner, rather than later.

It looked like the full-back was going to be the latest local hero for Liverpool but after a number of injury setbacks – he’s gone out on loan to find some form with Burnley.
Unfortunately, he hasn’t played much for the newly-promoted side but Reds fans are still hopeful he can find what made him a genuine prospect a couple of years ago.
Every fan wants a local player in their side and that’s what Flanagan wants to be.
