Liverpool: Fans shower Naby Keita with appreciation ahead of Leicester City tie

In recent weeks, Naby Keita has easily been one of Liverpool’s best players and that has not gone unnoticed.

Of late, supporters have been lauding the midfielder, who has come up with some very big goals for the Merseyside outfit this season.

He was on target against Monterrey in the Club World Cup, while prior he was able to find the back of the net in Liverpool’s final Champions League group stage game versus RB Salzburg.

Keita has found form at a great time with Jurgen Klopp currently without another influential midfielder in Fabinho. The Brazilian suffered an ankle injury in the 1-1 draw with Napoli last month and will not return until the New Year, meaning he will be unavailable for his side’s top-of-the-table clash against Leicester City on Boxing Day.

Liverpool fans seem to have confidence in Keita, though, as they took to Twitter to show the 24-year-old some appreciation underneath a club post. “Will humble [James] Maddison”, one fan tweeted.
