Liverpool fans have slammed and mocked Sky Sports commentator Martin Tyler after his coverage of their side’s 3-1 win against Manchester City at Anfield on Sunday.
The Reds made sure that they extended their league at the top of the Premier League over their rivals. Goals from Fabinho, Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane ensured that Jurgen Klopp’s side moved nine points ahead of last season’s champions.

The game was screened live on Sky Sports, and Tyler sat alongside Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher and the former Manchester United right-back Gary Neville as they gave their views on the 90 minutes.
Supporters were unhappy with his failure to get excited about Liverpool goals going in and laughed at the expense of Tyler as fans believed that he wanted the Reds to lose the game.
One fan said that he sounded like he was “at a funeral”.
