Andy Robertson is once again the talk of a portion of Liverpool’s fanbase after another disappointing Premier League performance.
The Reds recovered from their 4-0 defeat to Manchester City with a home win against Aston Villa on Sunday. However, the champions of England still don’t look themselves and many fans are pointing the finger at their Scottish left-back.

Robertson struggled against Manchester City at the Etihad, which could have been put down to too much celebrating after Liverpool won the league. His Anfield display was another out of character performance from him, though. According to Sofascore, the Scot lost possession a worrying 22 times against Villa and made just one successful cross out of an attempted seven.
For a full-back who registered eight assists last season – beating the likes of David Silva and Reds teammates Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane – such low accuracy numbers are quite alarming. Some Liverpool fans have noticed his dip in form and have taken to Twitter to air their frustration.

One Liverpool supporter has said that Robertson was “our worst player” against both City and Villa. The two games in question saw the 26-year-old earn a rating of 5.9 and 6.8 respectively (via Sofascore).
Robbo have been our worst player against City and today… Probably still drunk!

One Red thinks his performance was “pathetic” whilst another even thinks he “should be dropped” for the next game against Brighton on Wednesday.
