Dejan Lovren has given a pre-match interview as newly-crowned Premier League champions Liverpool prepare to take on Manchester City.
As the Reds gear up for a visit to the Etihad Stadium, the Croatian has given insight into how the team is feeling going into the fixture. In his latest interview, Lovren has said that the team are happy to have achieved what they set out to at the start of the season and are now already looking at the upcoming campaign.
“It’s important to stay in this winning mentality,” the 30-year-old told liverpoolfc.com.

Many Liverpool fans aren’t sharing his ambitious attitude, though, and are instead urging Jurgen Klopp to keep him away from tonight’s match – one fan has tweeted “don’t you dare start him”.
In Lovren’s last full 90 minutes for the Reds, the team suffered a 3-0 defeat to Watford and the Croatian lost possession 22 times and completed just four out of 13 attempted long balls (via Sofascore).
