Liverpool’s chase for a 100-point season is over after Arsenal snuffed them out with a 2-1 win at the Emirates.
Despite taking the lead through Sadio Mane, the champions couldn’t make the goal count. The Gunners were able to snatch all three points and keep their Europa League hopes alive after Alexandre Lacazette and Reiss Nelson found the back of the net.

The Reds have won just two games since they secured the title. They have since suffered defeat to Manchester City and Arsenal as well as drawing to Burnley at Anfield to break their perfect home winning streak this season.
One man who fans are pointing the finger at is Mohamed Salah. The Egyptian had a poor game at the Emirates, earning a measly Sofascore rating of 6.3, which was the lowest out of Liverpool’s whole starting XI. Salah made just ten successful passes in 83 minutes and lost possession ten times (via Sofascore).

Many Kopites have taken to Twitter to slam his performance, with several saying he ‘needs to be dropped’ for the upcoming game. Another supporter has branded his Arsenal display as a ‘disasterclass’.
