Liverpool extended their winning streak in the Premier League after their 3-1 win over Arsenal at Anfield last night.
Despite an opener from Alexandre Lacazette to put the Reds on the back foot, the reigning champions came back fighting and made easy work of bagging the victory.

Goals from Andy Robertson, Sadio Mane and Diogo Jota made up the scoresheet. However, not all of the Liverpool players are receiving praise from the fans.
Due a sloppy performance from the Gunners across their backline, the home side had a plethora of opportunities to score a hatful. In total, Liverpool dominated 66% of the match possession and had a total of 21 shots towards goal, with eight on target (via Sofascore).
Mohamed Salah in particular is being slammed for his ‘selfish’ performance in front of goal. The Egyptian tried his hand at several dribbling attempts rather than passing the ball to an open teammate. He lost the ball on 15 separate occasions and even swooped in to try and score despite the pass being destined for a wide open Jota.

Luckily, the new recruit managed to get his goal but fans still aren’t happy. One fan has taken to Twitter to say ‘Gary Neville is right’, after the Sky Sports pundit branded the winger ‘selfish’.
Another has said that it ‘annoyed me’ how Salah tried to take the goal for himself. Read more replies from the Anfield faithful here:

Jota can score all the goals as long as Salah doesn’t interfere like a selfish idiot
