Liverpool: Fans speculate over FSG inability to attend Merseyside derby

Fenway Sports Group will not be attending the upcoming Merseyside derby and Liverpool’s potential title-winning fixture.

According to a report from Paul Joyce, the Reds’ return to their Premier League title chase will not see their owners in attendance. This is because of quarantine rules put in place due to current ongoing events.

Runaway leaders Liverpool look almost certain to clinch their first top tier title in 30 years, and their first ever Premier League triumph. If Manchester City suffer a loss at the hands of Arsenal on June 17, the Reds could mathematically secure the trophy against Everton.

Kopites have responded to the news about FSG (relayed via @AnfieldEdition) and many are speculating over their absence.
