Plenty of Liverpool fans have had their say on former Manchester United midfielder Owen Hargreaves and his comments on Watford midfielder Abdoulaye Doucoure.
The 27-year-old has been a key figure in the Hornets’ side over the years since his arrival from Rennes in 2016. The former France U21 international has been recognised as one of the more fascinating players of the Premier League and has been linked with a move to Chelsea in recent weeks.
Hargreaves told Premier League productions (cited by the Metro) that the Frenchman would not look out of place in the Liverpool engine room and that his characteristics would be technically beneficial in Jurgen Klopp’s side. With this in mind, supporters were split on Hargreaves’ views and made their feelings clear on social media. One fan said that he is a better player than Georginio Wijnaldum, while another fan was not interested in a player of Doucoure’s calibre.
