The summer has largely been quiet for Liverpool so far.
Only teenage defender Sepp van den Berg has been confirmed as a new Reds player this summer with the 17-year-old joining from PEC Zwolle, and one name who has recently been linked with a move to Anfield is Dani Ceballos.
The Real Madrid midfielder, who recently won the U-21 EUROs with Spain, has been reported by Marca as a player Liverpool are interested in this window, with the 22-year-old said to be one name who is not a part of Zinedine Zidane’s plans at Los Blancos.
Liverpool’s interest in Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos has grown in the last weeks. Unlike other clubs, Liverpool are not interested in a loan move, they want a direct transfer which has been personally asked by Klopp. [@MARCA] pic.twitter.com/RNX31CHVol

As news began to filter out, Liverpool fans took to social media to let their voices be heard about the rumour, with many not too impressed with what they were reading.
Here is how a few Liverpool fans reacted to the news…
This is rubbish . . . We need a LB and a out and out goal scorer . Then maybe a world class creative AM to back Bobby up

Nah man, why should we be taking real madrids write offs? We’re Liverpool FC, let’s shock the world and take someone’s star performer. Make a statement of intent

1) Marc’s
2) We don’t need him, he ain’t better than our midfielders— DRN Skrilla (@itsarabattack) July 3, 2019
We don’t need any more midfielders, we need a left back and winger for depth, two signings worth a combined 60-70m (predominantly spent on the winger) a very simple and low budget window but seems to be difficult somehow….
