Towards the end of last month, The Athletic reported that Liverpool were one of many top European clubs who could be the next home for Borussia Dortmund’s Jadon Sancho.
And since then, fuel has been added to that speculation, with former footballer Jan Aage Fjortoft claiming that the Reds are now the favourites to land the 19-year-old — possibly as early as January.

Sancho has been in the headlines for the wrong reasons at times this season, getting dragged off the pitch in the first half in a 4-0 defeat to rivals Bayern Munich and returning late from international duty on one occasion (also per The Athletic).
Even so, the England international is still having a pretty good campaign. In the Bundesliga, he has managed to score five goals and assist a further six in just 11 appearances (via WhoScored).
Based on that alone, Sancho looks as if he could bring a lot to Jurgen Klopp’s side. Not every Liverpool fan seems convinced, though, with one supporter putting it out there that he would rather see Tottenham’s Son Heung-min join the club.
Take a look at the social media reaction below…
Jan Sancho is right footed. Liverpool play with inverted wingers. Therefore Liverpool would be buying Sancho to play in Manés position? Makes no sense

Rather have Son from Spurs any day of the week than Sancho.. Over hyped because he’s an English player.. Curtis Jones already at Liverpool will turn out to be a better player than him too in my opinion.. K

Does he have the correct mentality for Liverpool Jan?

i feel Liverpool be stupid to get Sancho, yeah we need a back up who can play front 3. we need a guy be happy coming on at 65-70mins most games and a cheaper option so we can upgrade in other key area.
