Jurgen Klopp’s men are absolutely flying at the moment and it would be a massive shock if they didn’t end the season with some kind of silverware to their name. Especially if Georginio Wijnaldum keeps his mesmerising form up. The fans have been voting for their player of the month for October on the Liverpool website and if the fans are voting like they’re commenting then it looks like Wijnaldum could walk it.
The Dutch midfielder has excelled at Anfield, especially seeing as he used to be deployed as a number ten for Newcastle and is now thriving in a much deeper role for The Reds. He is one of those whose hard work allows those in front of him to play and without him in the side, there’s a serious argument to say that Klopp’s side wouldn’t be anywhere near where they are at the moment.
