Liverpool: Fans react to 2021/22 training gear leaks

Many Liverpool fans have been reacting to reported leaked images of the LFC clothing products that will be produced by Nike for the 2021/22 campaign.

The Reds were able to sign a contract with the American sportswear giants after winning a high court battle against New Balance, who accused them of breaching the terms of their old deal (via The Guardian).

As a result, Liverpool started the current season in shirts made by Nike for the very first time in the club’s long and illustrious history.

OFOBALL released a number of drawn up images of next season’s training kit range, which they say will be used for next season’s European campaign.

Some of the jackets, particularly the red one with the grey and yellow trim, appear to take influence from the kit that was worn when Liverpool won the European Cup, their fourth crown, in 1984.

Because of this, some supporters were delighted with what they saw and got themselves excited about seeing the players wearing them, albeit not everyone was convinced they were genuine.
