Liverpool: Fans slam Rhian Brewster’s Community Shield performance

Liverpool were pipped to the post during Saturday’s Community Shield match as Arsenal snatched the win on penalties.
It was a cagey affair that looked as though the Gunners would finish comfortably, after a Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang goal put them ahead in the 12th minute. The Reds struggled to find their groove until Takumi Minamino was brought on in the second half and managed to force the equaliser with just 15 minutes to go.
Should Liverpool loan Rhian Brewster out this summer?
Yes

No

The match trickled out to a penalty shootout, which is where Arsenal capitalised. Due to a Rhian Brewster mis-hit, Liverpool fell at the final hurdle and the Gunners were awarded their 16th Community Shield.
A lot of Kopites are placing the blame on the youngster, particularly after Klopp brought Brewster on in the dying moments of regular time – seemingly so he could partake in the shootout.
His missed opportunity has sparked a lot of debate amongst the fanbase and many are pointing the finger at Brewster. One fan has slammed the forward for being ‘useless’ whilst another has criticised his spot-kick for being ‘not even close’.
