Manchester United are reportedly another interested party looking to acquire the signature of Liverpool transfer target Thiago Alcantara this summer.
According to Christian Falk of SportBild (relayed via @AnfieldEdition), the Red Devils are keen on the midfielder. However, the 29-year-old would reportedly opt to join Liverpool over Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team if he was given the choice.

The Reds are yet to make an offer for Thiago but they are the leading club in pursuit of his services. According to the Daily Mail, the Merseyside outfit are eyeing up a £32m swoop to bring him to Anfield this summer.
A lot of Liverpool fans haven’t taken the latest update well and are worried that this is the beginning of the end of their interest in Thiago. One supporter has tweeted “this is exactly Werner” as they fear this situation will take a similar turn to the failed pursuit of the German striker. The Reds lost out on signing heavily-linked transfer target Timo Werner after he chose to join Chelsea instead.
