A number of Liverpool supporters have urged Fenerbahce to sign Divock Origi, following an update regarding the striker’s Reds future.
The Belgian’s Anfield career has been one of the more curious ones of the Jurgen Klopp era.
Origi has undoubtedly contributed to Liverpool’s success, famously scoring in the 2019 Champions League final win over Tottenham, not to mention bagging a brace in the incredible semi-final victory against Barcelona.
There have been other big moments, too – the dramatic late winner at home to Everton in 2018/19 stands out – but the 26-year-old has become an increasingly ineffective player for the Reds.
Liverpool fans want Origi to leave
These Liverpool fans took to Twitter to call for the Turkish giants to sign Origi, with many wanting him moved on.
“We should genuinely all buy Fenerbahce shirts to fund this and thank the club“
“He’ll have the same impact on our games from Turkey as he does here anyway“
“Thanks for the memories Origi but it’s time to say goodbye“
“Please offload this guy“
“Make it happen“
