Top of Liverpool’s wish-list is likely to be a top-class striker, as the Reds have struggled to find a reliable attacking option ever since Luis Suarez left for Barcelona – and the uncertain future of Daniel Sturridge increases the need for recruits in this area.
Following reports that Liverpool are indeed looking at significant attacking options this summer, many have started to speculate on who they could bring in – and many have joked that another raid on Southampton is just around the corner.
