Our Liverpool fans here in the Transfer Tavern can’t wait to see what the rest of the season has in store though last night certainly didn’t help their optimism.
Indeed, though the Reds are in the driving seat to finish in the top four at the moment that really could all change with the 2-2 draw against Bournemouth underlining as such.
For sure, that has been a tail of the Reds’ season with them dropping points against sides lower down the league and so they’ll be hoping that does not finish them off in the final few games.
It looks like, though, that they’ll have to continue without Sadio Mane – a man who has been key this season – but whilst that is an obvious blow, it might not be as serious as first feared if you take into this stat into account – via OptaJean on Twitter:
