Writing on Twitter, Liverpool have confirmed the return of defender Morgan Boyes from his loan spell at Fleetwood Town – prompting supporters to have their say on the decision as this news emerges.
Boyes, who has been described as a player with ‘plenty of potential‘ by Town boss Joey Barton, excited Fleetwood when they managed to land him on loan, but Liverpool have now decided to recall the 19-year-old.
Having featured for the Fishermen against The Reds arch-rivals Everton in a Carabao Cup defeat, Boyes gained some valuable experience on his travels – and Jurgen Klopp will be hoping the temporary move as gone some way to nurturing his promise.
Despite not getting as much game time as he’d debatably hoped for, the teenage centre-back will now be able to start again and potentially join another outfit on loan as the Reds contemplate their next move.
