Liverpool fans in the Transfer Tavern are debating interesting claims being made in the media today, which suggest Jurgen Klopp has a lot of work ahead of him to make the Reds into title contenders.
In a survey run by The Liverpool Echo, over 50,000 fans had their say on the changes needed at Anfield and many suggested a major rebuild is required in certain areas.
The wing areas of the squad proved to be the most concerning for fans, with a whopping 76% of voters believing a major rebuild in this area is necessary.
Despite the signings of Christian Benteke and Danny Ings in the summer, 29% believed big chances were necessary in attack but fans seemed thrilled with the defensive options; although many maintain Simon Mignolet is not good enough.
The attacking midfield, boasting Brazilian duo Philippe Coutinho and Roberto Firmino, is also deemed good enough but the overall results show that Jurgen Klopp has plenty of business to attend to in January and heading into the summer.
