During the first half of Liverpool vs Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium, many Reds weren’t impressed with the performance of James Milner, as Jurgen Klopp’s side aim to claw back a way into the European qualifying spots.
The midfielder, who started over Naby Keita and Georginio Wijnaldum against Mikel Arteta’s side, struggled to get a foothold in the game with these fans wondering why was he was picked ahead of his teammates who would perhaps offer more in an attacking sense.
Milner, who has been an ever present in the Liverpool squad for many seasons, was handed an opportunity by Klopp, but missed a golden chance to put his side in front around 35 minutes in.
The Englishman didn’t impress this set of supporters – with one even branding him a ‘liability’ whilst others dropped their wide array of verdicts on social media.
