Everton must be getting really sick of the sight of both Mane and Divock Origi, and the Toffees-killing pair were at it again on Wednesday.
Origi scored two sublime goals in a vintage centre-forward’s display, but it was Mane who really stole the show, and plenty of pundits were stunned by his display.
Phil Neville said he believes Mane is the best player in the league and possibly in Europe, Gary Lineker simply said he “scores everything” and Jamie Carragher called the Senegal international a “machine”, insisting he is his favourite current player.
Mane you’re a machine! 2 weeks off in the summer!!! My favourite player by a mile. ❤️ #LIVEVE

Another Mane goal. Another @trentaa98 assist. Trent sees everything when he has the ball. Sadio scores everything when he has the ball.

Indeed, the 27 year-old now has nine goals and four assists in the league this campaign, and was awarded an incredible 9.26 out of 10 by Whoscored for his performance in the Merseyside derby.
He will look to add to his tally against a struggling Bournemouth side on Saturday afternoon.
