Our Liverpool fans here in the Tavern are sensing a real momentum shift towards their club of late, and at the time of writing, were preparing for their first leg of their Champions League semi-final clash with Italian giants Roma.
The Reds have been playing some superb stuff this campaign, and led by the ever impressive Mo Salah, it looks like anything could be possible over the coming seasons for Jurgen Klopp’s men.
In order to maintain their promise and keep challenging, the club are going to need to make some more signings to improve the squad, and this summer promises to be one of the busiest at Anfield for quite some time, with the impending signing of Naby Keita already in the bag.
Here in the Tavern, we think a new striker would be a solid addition to the ranks for Klopp, and with that in mind, we took a good look at TWO potential signings Liverpool could make in the striking department…
Edinson Cavani

If there is one thing Liverpool lack up top, it is a presence and someone with experience of getting the goals at the very top level. PSG striker Cavani ticks both these boxes.
The big striker is an absolute powerhouse of a forward, and has been delivering on the biggest stage for a number of seasons now.
The Premier League remains something he has not tried yet, and the chance of playing at Anfield and being the main man could be an extremely appealing move for him.
Moussa Dembele

The young Celtic striker is on the radar of a whole host of clubs across Europe, and a move away from the Scottish champions eventually feels inevitable.
Dembele has looked a class act north of the border since moving from Fulham, but he will surely want to chance his arm in the Premier League, meaning Liverpool could represent the perfect destination for the youngster.
Speedy, good in front of goal, and with plenty of room for improvement, Dembele would be a superb addition at Anfield if a deal can be done.
