Therefore, Liverpool should look to make a move for the 25-year-old in the summer transfer window, as an ideal replacement for Philippe Coutinho.

Alfie Mawson joined Swansea City back in the summer of 2016 as one of England’s most promising talents, and hasn’t disappointed during his time at the Liberty Stadium as he continues to grind out world-class performances.
