The Chelsea faithful in the Football Transfer Tavern are calling for change…
After a disastrous couple of weeks for Chelsea – it is clear that changes are necessary, and fast.
The Blues are without a win in 3, and Antonio Conte must be desperate to make things right at the club.
According to the Sun, he is looking to begin that process immediately – and the Italian is reportedly set to axe five formerly key players in January.
The publication suggests that the quintuple of Fabregas, Matic, Oscar, Ivanovic and Cahill are all set for a Stamford Bridge exit – with poor form and inconsistency forcing them out of the door.
The Chelsea fans in the Tavern rarely agree with each other – but they are definitely all on the same page with this one.
Like Conte, they are angry that so many Chelsea players are struggling – and they want to see them out the door.
With agreement so rare in the Tavern, our landlord has taken to Twitter to see if everyone online is thinking the same way.
