The Daily Mail have Chelsea fans looking a bit disappointed here in the Football Transfer Tavern as they seem to think that Petr Cech will be leaving the Blues in the summer.
Cech has spoken once again about playing second fiddle to Thibaut Courtois and it seems he has reached the end of his tether with it.
Cech claimed: ‘I don’t know what the club’s idea will be. It looks like it works well with me and Thibaut as a duo,
‘But that can work for one season only. I don’t want another one like this.’
As one of our punters notes over a beer and burger by the bar, Cech would make a brilliant keeper for just about any side but we do not think Jose Mourinho should sell him to a rival – or even Arsenal – as Cech could make them into title contenders.
Should Cech join a rival, it will not be a Frank Lampard type situation, with Blues fans well aware Cech wanted to stay at the club and would have but for Courtois.
