Liverpool fans are looking distraught here in the Football Transfer Tavern after seeing this promotional YouTube video and we cannot blame them.

Sadly for Reds fans, it is not a promo of their upcoming Merseyside derby against Everton.

Instead, it is an advert promoting the new LA Galaxy jersey and you know what name and number is on the back – yep, it is Reds skipper Steven Gerrard who will be leaving the club for Major League Soccer come the end of the season.

As if that was not bad enough, the ‘Gerrard 8’ shirt is not exactly cheap either so any Liverpool fans who may want to support their hero and get his new team’s shirt will have to get in that overtime given it will set them back a massive – and downright outrageous – £114!
