Our Leeds fans here in the Transfer Tavern certainly wish they’d been a part of the play-offs this season after narrowly missing out.
Indeed, the Whites’ supporters here by the bar certainly expected to be in the top six come the end of the season but they instead had to watch the likes of Sheffield Wednesday take part instead.
Their great Yorkshire rivals Wednesday, though, couldn’t get through Huddersfield in the semi-finals and that has left many Leeds fans quick to say something about that on Twitter.
Indeed, the rivalry doesn’t need much of an invite to get going and after Fernando Forestieri saw his penalty saved things once again started rumbling on Twitter.
