Leeds United fans here in the Tavern are hoping that their side can enjoy a positive finish to the current campaign, as they have nothing to play for from here on in. 

The Whites have looked less than convincing in recent times as they continue to struggle for consistency, with many of our local residents fearing the worst as the current campaign comes to a close. Indeed, Leeds may look to get rid of any dead weight in the summer months, as there are evident improvements to be had in what’s been a disappointing season for all involved.

Of course, there definitely needs to be changes made in the summer transfer window, with the Whites possibly conducting a major overhaul as they go on in search of promotion to the Premier League. But, they’ll need to get rid of a few underperforming players if they want to enjoy a successful season next time around, as consistency has been a huge problem in the current campaign.

Pawel Cibicki

Pawel Cibicki has been disappointing since joining Leeds United from Swedish side Malmo FF, as he’s failed to come to terms with English football as one of the club’s worst performers.

Indeed, the 24-year-old hasn’t made the most of his limited opportunities in the side, as an exit in the summer transfer window looks likely after a rather disastrous first season in the Championship.

Therefore, Leeds should look to sell the attacker in the summer transfer window, as they’ll want to bring in a world-class replacement that can fire them to promotion in the next campaign.

Hadi Sacko

Hadi Sacko has been largely used as a squad rotation player in the current campaign as he’s struggled to get a look in, with many of our local residents wanting to see him gone in the summer months.

Indeed, the Frenchman has looked less than convincing on the field as he’s failed to make a positive impact, which has left his future in doubt with an exit looking likely.

Therefore, Leeds should look to sell the midfielder in the summer months, as he’s currently holding the team back after producing a number of poor performances so far this season.

Vurnon Anita

Vurnon Anita has lost his way in the current campaign as he continues to find himself on the substitutes’ bench, with many of our local residents feeling less than impressed after a disappointing season.

Indeed, the former Newcastle United midfielder has been used in a defensive position so far this season, but has fallen down the pecking order as it looks like he’ll struggle to earn any minutes in the side from here on in.

Therefore, Leeds United should look to offload Anita in the summer transfer window, as there’s no place for him in the current squad after failing to impress Paul Heckingbottom so far this season.
