Our Sheffield Wednesday fans here in the Transfer Tavern are really looking forward to seeing how their side gets on this season in the Championship.
The Owls have narrowly missed out on promotion in the last two campaigns via the play-offs and now they will be hoping that it’s third time lucky in that regard.
They know, though, that there’s about a dozen other sides that will fancy themselves to get promoted, too, and so it’s going to be a ruthless fight to get into the Premier League.
For sure, then, a good start against Preston is needed this weekend but after a friendly loss recently against Rangers, some fans are a bit worried.
However, when Jack Hunt tweeted about the result, most fans were quick to maintain perspective in that it was only a friendly and the game against Preston is all that matters.
