Lovren and Fabinho need to seek immediate improvements at Liverpool

Liverpool will have their sights set on securing the Premier League title in the current campaign, with an elusive piece of silverware not too far out of reach for Jurgen Klopp.

The Reds have been able to ensure consistency right the way through this season as they remain unbeaten in the top-flight of English football, but the Champions League is a completely different story.

Sadly, Klopp has had to deal with a couple of underperformers in the current campaign that just haven’t been able to have any sort of positive impact on proceedings. This problem needs to be sorted out almost immediately as it could affect their push for silverware, with supporters feeling slightly concerned.

With that in mind, these TWO Liverpool players must be hated by the fans…

DEJAN LOVREN

Dejan Lovren was heavily criticised last season for his lack of consistency at the heart of the defence, which has since resulted in Joe Gomez taking his place next to Virgil Van Dijk.

The Croatian had a successful summer and was in good spirits as the Premier League campaign got underway, but things haven’t gone to plan for him as he can’t seem to buy a game at this moment in time.

Supporters can’t help but feel nervous when the central defender is on the field in match situations, as he has been known to make a number of mistakes in his time at Anfield.

FABINHO

Fabinho joined Liverpool from French side AS Monaco during the summer transfer window, but the Brazilian has struggled for game time and doesn’t look all that comfortable on the ball.

The versatile midfielder has been one of the biggest disappointments for the Reds this season as he hasn’t been able to impact proceedings in a positive way and often gives the ball away in the middle of the park.

Supporters will be desperate to see improvements from the 25-year-old as he is already testing their patience, with a loan move to Paris Saint-Germain already being rumoured.
