Liverpool’s players – as well as their fans – must be hoping football returns as soon as possible.
Professional sport across Europe and the world has been suspended due to the pandemic that has wreaked havoc across the globe and, at least in the Premier League, there is unlikely to be any fresh games in the next eight weeks at the very least. As it stands, the Reds are 25 points clear at the top of the table and just six away from confirming their status as champions.

In the UK, the population is in lockdown, meaning they must stay at home. That leaves plenty with more time on their hands, including the players themselves.

As such, many Reds supporters have been reacting to a video of 57-time Croatia international Dejan Lovren tackling his son – with no holds barred, it would seem.
