Our Wolves fans here in the Transfer Tavern were not too worried about their club this lunchtime but emerging reports have certainly got them concerned now.
Indeed, whilst many were looking forward to seeing what the summer had in-store for them in terms of transfers under Paul Lambert it now appears that the manager could quit.
Indeed, that is according to John Percy of the Telegraph – via Twitter – with it claimed that Lambert does not like the sound of Jorge Mendes looking after transfers.
Certainly, you can understand that when a manager wants to get his own players in and so fans of the club have naturally had something to say.

Reports that Lambert is set to quit. My understanding is that too much Mendes involvement would see him walk. Not at that stage yet.
