The Manchester City fans in the Transfer Tavern are contemplating what areas they can improve their squad.
Manchester City don’t exactly need a new striker.
With Gabriel Jesus and Sergio Aguero, Pep Guardiola’s side have two of the best forwards in the league.
Despite Jesus’ young age, it wouldn’t hurt Manchester City to think even further into the future and pick up one of the many young talented strikers across Europe to bolster their squad even further, especially given that Iheanacho looks to be on his way out of the club.
Given all the football City will be playing next season in the Premier League, FA Cup, League Cup and Champions League, two strikers might not be enough and a third option may be better suited to playing the first few rounds of both domestic cups.
With that being said, here are THREE top strikers of the future, at least one of which Man City should consider making a move for….
Timo Werner

Timo Werner had a good season for RB Leipzig last season, scoring 21 goals and assisting seven more in 31 league games.
Aged only 21, Werner is gaining the attention of a lot of Europe’s biggest clubs and if he can live up to the hype, he could provide good cover for Jesus and Aguero and if he performs as well as he can perform, he may even overtake them on the team sheet.
Kasper Dolberg

A teenager who plays for Ajax, at this point that is almost enough to guarantee that he will be a star of the future.
Dolberg played 73 competitive games last season, and is one hell of a prospect.
It’s clear the teenager is no stranger to putting in some hard work and with that attitude, he could find himself break into the City first team should they buy him.
Kylian Mbappe

This one seems unlikely but why not?
Arsenal are heavily linked with Mbappe but Manchester City can surely outbid the Gunners if it came down to it.
With the ability to play anywhere across the front line, Kylian Mbappe would be a very useful addition to the City side.
However, given the strength they have in his positions, maybe an immediate loan back to current club, Monaco for next season would suit everyone better.
It’s obvious he has talent, it may just be a bit much to spend to not use him immediately.
