The Manchester City fans here in the Transfer Tavern are, obviously, in a good mood right now.
Indeed, with Pep Guardiola’s City slickers sweeping away the rest of the Premier League, our resident Sky Blues are happy with the nature of life under the super cool Spaniard. Which is why they’ve been afforded the luxury of calling for the inclusion of a certain star tonight.
With City welcoming Feyenoord to the Etihad tonight in the Champions League, fans on social media have been urging Guardiola to turn to England U17 hero Phil Foden for the game. City have already qualified for the next round of the Champions League, so now could be an ideal time to blood one of England’s most exciting talents.
Guardiola has previously raved about the 17-year-old, who led the Young Lions to the World Cup title in their age group, so supporters have been calling for his arrival.
