Manchester United and Liverpool fans in the Transfer Tavern have spilled a lot of pints this evening after getting in each other’s faces to debate the latest piece of gossip concerning their beloved clubs.
The Daily Mail says the two Premier League giants are battling for the signature of Emre Mor, a Danish U19 international that is setting Europe alight following fantastic performances for FC Nordsjaelland’s youth side.
Mor’s performances have been sending scouts head-over-heels after watching his performances, with Jurgen Klopp’s former employers Borussia Dortmund said to be long-term admirers of the teenage wonder-kid.
18-year-old Mor is now valued as one of the most exciting up and coming talents on the continent, with United and Liverpool both keeping tabs on the talented star ahead of a potential swoop in the New Year.
A wealth of clubs are keen, including Dutch giants Ajax, but the Premier League side’s hope to capture this future star- although it’s unlikely he would make his first-team bow for a while.
