There’s not been much to shout about over the last few days for the Manchester United supporters in the Transfer Tavern recently, following constant injury problems and a drab draw with Manchester City.
Still, while the spoils were shared at the Etihad last night, reports from the Independent have at least had the Red Devils in the bar putting one over their noisy neighbours.
They claim City legend Joe Hart would have no problem in potentially joining United this summer, should David De Gea leave Old Trafford.
The England international had been touted as a potential replacement for the Spaniard should he join Real Madrid by Marca and the Independent claims there would be no issue in moving across Manchester.
Everton are also thought to be in the race, with the 30-year-old reportedly keen on the idea on staying in the North West, after his loan spell with Torino.
While the United fans in the bar would loath to lose De Gea, the notion of taking Hart from their city rivals is proving a sweet one to ponder right now.
Thoughts?
