Man United: Fans praise Solskjaer’s display of ruthlessness

Many United supporters are delighted after Ole Gunnar Solskjaer told the Manchester Evening News some players have been given their final warning.

The club legend said “I’ve got to make decisions and one day… well, you give them one warning and that’s it probably, and then the next thing maybe they are not here anymore.”

A number of fringe players including Phil Jones, Jesse Lingard and Andreas Pereira have found their appearances limited in recent months under the club legend and could find themselves surplus to requirements in the summer (Goal).

Lingard last started for United back in January and hasn’t scored or registered an assist in the Premier League all season. His current market value has dropped to £28.8m via Transfermarkt. Unsurprisingly, plenty of Red Devils are insisting the board cash in on the club academy product and Solskjaer’s stern final warning has pleased a large portion of the fan base.

Manchester United find themselves just 3 points behind top four rivals Chelsea in the Premier League and faced Derby County in the FA Cup fifth round tonight.
